Listed Tuesdays: Ten Irrational Best Friends

7:00:00 AM

So since this blog documents the life and thoughts of the two of us, I decided to give another peek into the kinds of conversations we have. I have done this before when I shared some of the lengths we go to in order to entertain ourselves. Then of course there are the numberless times I admitted to our book/movie/superhero kicks we get on. I have decided that it is time for another one of these admissions.

So we were sitting around one night talking about basketball (again) which naturally includes a conversation about Bill Simmons (again) and Brett mentions that he seriously believes he would be best friends with Bill Simmons (again). So this starts us on the conversation of who we think we could be best friends with, but know that it would never really happen. It had to be someone that is more of a public figure/celebrity. This continued until the list included real people and fictional characters, necessitating two different lists.

So with out further ado, this is the first half of what we came up with together. In no particular order, just ten people we love and think we could be friends with, or that we want to be friends with.

  1. Bill Simmons
  2. Paul Allen
  3. JJ Abrams
  4. Paul Rudd
  5. Kristen Wigg OR Elizabeth Banks (we were realizing that we were running out of space on our list and needed to consolidate)
  6. Stanley Tucci
  7. Emily Blunt and Jim K.... (we love both, and since they are married we get to lump them together to save space!)
  8. Marky-Mark Whalburg
  9. Brandon Flowers
  10. Robert Downy Junior
So there it is. Our list of people we think we either could be friends with, or would want to be friends with. Who would you include on your list?

  1. J.J. Abrams is on my list of people,
Taylor Swift(I think we would be good friends),
Kristen Wigg (She is so funny, I have skits in my head I think she would do a great job with)
    M. Night Shyamalan
    Steven Spielberg
    Tim Tebow
Kathy Reichs (the writer of Bones)
    Kate Spade
    J.K. Rowling

That's who I can think of right now, that would be cool to be friends with, to be able to pick their brains ask them questions, and also just be able to hang out on set, in their work studio, or just simply with them.
